Who makes the best baby sunglasses for newborns up to six months? We took two dozen pairs of baby sunglasses and tried them out on actual babies. We judged them on safety (UV protection is a must), fit and adjustability. The winners had flexible frames that can't be broken by a kid—trust us, they tried. Here are the best bets.

Best Baby Sunglasses Overall: COCOSAND Baby Sunglasses with Strap

Let’s talk baby sunglasses. When we refer to babies in this article, we mean kiddos from birth to 6 months. Sun protection is important for babies—hats and sunglasses are a good start.

We tried out quite a few baby sunglasses with actual babies and parents. Nearly all baby sunglasses have a band to keep them in place—some have thicker bands, some thinner. Sizing is also all over the board.

After all that research, we pick COCOSAND’s baby sunglasses as the best of the bunch—they were the most comfortable and adjustable, along with 100% UV protection (UV 400). Our testers just loved these sunglasses, which had good fit. Here’s more:

What We Liked

• Adjustable strap.

• Flexible frame that is bite resistant. You know babies, everything in the mouth!

• Lightweight.

• No BPA.

• Includes cleaning cloth.

• Adorable!

What Needs Work

• Pricey.

• Lenses can scratch easily.

• Sizing runs a bit small—band is too tight for some kiddos.
