We love sourdough bread. How much? So much we did a blind taste test with 11 sourdough brands to find the best of the best. (You're welcome!). Here are the winners.

FYI: We've been reviewing and rating products for the home and families since 1994. To keep things independent, we don't take money or freebies from brands we review! Our work is 100% reader-supported!

How We Found The Best Sourdough Bread

Yes, sourdough bread is among the oldest breads on Earth, with a history that can be traced to ancient Egypt.

We love sourdough anything—pancakes, rolls, etc.

To find the very best sourdough bread, we asked our parent readers for their favorite brands. We then took these suggestions and did a blind taste test. Why hide the brand name? We think that makes it fair, as folks have emotional attachment to sourdough brands . . .  understandably!

So here are the ones we judged the very best. Enjoy!

Best Sourdough Loaf

Organic, amazing taste
The golden crust here is the star, although the delicate interior is a close second. No, it's not sliced—but that's a feature, not a bug!
