Comments: The Britax Pinnacle ClickTight is virtually the same as the Frontier ClickTight, but adds Side Impact Cushion Technology (SICT). This gives additional protection if the vehicle is in a side-impact crash.
The Britax Pinnacle ClickTight originally debuted back in 2013 and has received overwhelmingly positive parent reviews, according to our research. On Amazon, 90% of parents rated this seat with four or five stars. Readers say it is very easy to install and overall quality is excellent. Many parents even noted the fabric was easy to clean!
Feedback on this seat is similar to the Frontier—largely positive with a few critics noting how hard the Pinnacle can be to clean if your child gets sick while riding in the seat. As you might expect, one negative here is the seat’s large bulk—those side impact cushions add significantly to the seat’s width, which might be a concern for fit in smaller vehicles. That said, since this is basically a Frontier with a new feature, we’ll recommend it with the same rating we do for the Frontier.
