Comments: This seat was brand new as of this writing (November 2019) and is Britax’s new top-of-the-line harness to belt-positioning booster. Basically, this is a new and and improved version of the Frontier, which is heading to the discontinuation bin.

The big headlines here are the headrest with nine positions and one-hand adjustment and the extra side-impact protection not seen on Britax’s less expensive seats (Skyline, etc). There are also two cup holders and more up-to-date fashions.

There are two versions of this seat: the base model and the Plus, which adds even more side impact padding (cushions) and runs . This is replacing the Britax Pinnacle at the top of the line.

As with all Britax’s ClickTight seats, the ease of installation is what we like most about this seat—the base pops open and provides a way to tighten the seat belt in a jiffy.

What’s not to like? Well, we heard complaints from a few parents about the Grow With You’s weight—it’s heavy to move from car to car.

Also: a few reviewers on Amazon say it is hard to adjust the headrest, especially in the upper positions. This seat is so new, that the feedback is quite limited—so we’ll have to see if that is just an early production issue or an actual flaw.

In the end, we will give this seat our top rating for its overall quality and ease of install. Rating: A
