Is Baby Jogger Non-Toxic?

Unclear.

Baby Jogger does not disclose whether it uses flame retardants in its fabrics.

In a 2022 third-party testing report by the Ecology Center, strollers made by Baby Jogger’s parent (Graco) were found to NOT contain any flame retardants. However, a car seat made by Graco did contain flame retardants.

Baby Jogger seats were not tested as part of the report, although Baby Jogger seats and strollers use similar components (fabric, foam padding) as Graco models.

Is Baby Jogger A Jogging Stroller?

Yes & No.

Even though Baby Jogger started as a maker of jogging strollers, the company only sells one model for that use currently: the Baby Jogger Summit X.

Baby Jogger’s other strollers (such as the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2) are not designed for jogging.

Is a Baby Jogger compatible with the Nuna Pipa?

Yes & No.

In order to use a Nuna Pipa infant car seat with a Baby Jogger, you need to purchase a separate car seat adapter.

Baby Jogger has car seat adapters for the Nuna Pipa, but only for some of their models. For example, the popular Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 does have an adapter for the Pipa. Other models like the Baby Jogger Summit X do NOT have adapters for the Pipa.

FYI: There are several versions of the Nuna Pipa—not all work with the Baby Jogger adapter. See this chart for details.

Can You Use a Baby Jogger From Birth?

Yes & No.

Baby Jogger strollers are designed for use from six months and up.

Who Are Baby Jogger's Competitors?

For jogging strollers, Baby Jogger’s biggest competitors are Thule and BOB. Specifically, the Baby Jogger Summit competes directly against the Thule Urban Glide and the BOB Revolution Flex.

Is a jogging stroller for everyday use?

Yes & No.

A jogging stroller can work for everyday use, depending on where you live.

A jogging stroller with a turnable front wheel would work well in rural or suburban neighborhoods. However, the size and bulk of a jogging stroller would make it less ideal in a crowded urban environment like a shopping mall.
