A Graco PR person emailed us this heads up: Graco plans to announce shortly that it will be debuting a new version of its popular SnugRide car seat. The new SnugRide will have a higher weight limit . . . but no other details are known yet.
So if you were planning to buy a SnugRide car seat, you might want to wait a bit.

I have a larger version of the snug ride it is the Graco safe seat it holds up to 30 lbs and it is the same as the snugride just bigger.

I saw an updated (apparently) Graco Snugride seat on Amazon.com (Graco SnugRide 32 Infant Car Seat in Zurich — http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GQ2P6O?ie=UTF8&tag=fil96&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B001GQ2P6O) and came here looking for an update. My guess is that this is the new version this blog post was about. It seems to be in stock right now. Have you any updated information on it?

I’ve also seen the SnugRide 32 Infant Car Seat — just recently in Babies R Us. It is both lighter than the SafeSeat and has a higher weight limit (up to 32 lbs) than the other SnugRide seats. Do you have updated information yet? I want to be sure there’s not something I’m overlooking before I purchase it.
