Crib Bedding brand review: Gerber. Gerber’s been around forever, sold as a super discounted, low end clothing and bedding line. In recent years they’ve upped the design value with some cute prints, but the quality follows the price. While their sheets are made of 100% cotton they don’t have elastic all around. And readers tell us they do shrink, making them near impossible to use on a mattress.
Gerber sheets are not cheap either. They run $15 per sheet. When compared with Amazon’s in house crib bedding line, Pinzon with 300 thread count, all cotton and all around elastic, for $10, there just is no comparison. Forget the Gerber–you can get better quality for less. Rating: D
