Our friends at the Z Recommends blog have a fascinating post today about metal-water bottle maker SIGG, which recently announced their bottles are BPA-free.
Funny story—this same company denied their bottles contained BPA during the great BPA ruckus a few years ago. Now that they've come up with a new BPA-free lining, they've admitted that, uh, the previous lining did contain BPA!
Hmmmm.

Kahla, they are swapping old bottles for new ones, but require the customer to pay to ship the bottles back to them. Then they send you a code to use to buy new bottles, which includes enough to cover shipping to you. You can email them at [email protected] to make arrangements.
One problem with this deal is that some of the bottles with the new liners are defective. Of course, they’ll swap those with you too, if you have problems… and in that case, they’ll pay shipping too.
