Comments: Simply know as the Harmony Youth Booster, this backless booster for a mere $13 at Walmart. For $13, you get a booster and not much else: no cup holders, no LATCH, etc.
The NHTSA scored this booster as four out of five stars, while the IIHS gave it a best bet rating. Consumer Reports gave this seat the top ranking out of six other backless boosters, rating the crash protection as “very good.”
Most reader back is quite positive. The few dissenters note the seat is quite wide (making it hard to fit into smaller back seats). And there is a split opinion on the padding, with some folks say it is too skimpy and others saying it is fine. It might be best to try this one out in a store with your toddler to confirm comfort before purchasing. Rating: A
