Is Cybex worth the money?
Yes.
Is Cybex worth the money? Yes, the Cybex strollers are worth the investment, in our opinion (we have spent the last 30 years researching and writing about baby gear—read more about us). Three reasons:
1. Sleek design. Cybex strollers have superior design touches compared to competitors in this price range. Look the travel-friendly Cybex Beezy, for example—the compact, one-hand fold is impressive. The rose gold frame on the Cybex Mios 3 is another example.
2. Cache. If you don’t want to have the same stroller as every family on the block, this brand is for you—Cybex is a premium brand with limited distribution, so you won’t see it on every corner.
3. Resale value. Thanks to the brand’s popularity, Cybex strollers can be resold at roughly 34% to 45% of their retail price after three years, based on our analysis. This assumes normal wear and tear.
Cybex has had one safety recall in the past 20 years. See our sister site, StrollerWiki, for more on Cybex’s background and history.

Does Cybex go on sale?
Yes and No.
Cybex divides its stroller line into two price classes: gold and platinum. The gold Cybex strollers are widely distributed (on sites like Amazon) and see more frequent sales. The platinum Cybex strollers have more limited distribution and see fewer sales.
1. Amazon Prime Day. This sale typically features a Cybex model or two at discounts of about 15% off retail.
2. Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Discounts of 20% or more are typical during these sales. In 2021, the travel-friendly Cybex Beezy fell 21% discount this sale. The same stroller saw a smaller but still significant 9% decline in 2022 during Black Friday.
3. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Held during mid-July, this sale usually features one or two Cybex stroller models, based on our research from the past three years. FYI: Nordstrom carriers more Cybex models than Amazon.
4. Cybex’s own site. There is a special offers section on Cybex’s site with discounted car seats and strollers.
Where are Cybex strollers made?
China.
All Cybex strollers are made in China. The company is headquartered in Bayreuth, Germany.
Is the Cybex Beezy cabin-approved?
It depends.
When folded, the Cybex Beezy is 10.2″ L x 16.9″ W x 22.8″ H. The meets the carry-in requirements for most airlines. However, overhead bin size can vary greatly from aircraft to aircraft. So the Cybex Beezy may fit in a 737 bin, but not that of a smaller regional jet.
Are Cybex strollers non-toxic?
Unclear.
Cybex does say that its Aton G infant seat is made with “chemical-free flame-resistant fabric.” However, no such claims are made for any of Cybex’s strollers. So the use of chemical treatments in Cybex’s stroller fabrics or canopies is unclear.
Is Cybex Better than Nuna?
Yes and no.
Cybex and Nuna are similar in terms of price and features—they are both premium brands with excellent quality and design features.
There are some key differences:
• Cybex offers more models. As of this writing, Nuna has seven stroller models, while Cybex sells 34. (Read our FAQ on Nuna here).
• Cybex has unique design features like rose gold frames and designer collaborations that Nuna lacks.
• Nuna has a more eco-friendly focus. Nuna uses GOTS certified fabrics for organic textiles and uses organic cotton that is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Most Nuna strollers like the Nuna Demi Grow are also GREENGUARD Gold, which certifies products have low chemical emissions. As we discussed above, Cybex does not offer these features.
Does Cybex make a double stroller?
Yes and no.
While Cybex does not make a stand-alone double stroller, it does have one model that converts form single to double: The Cybex Gazelle S.
This model comes with a regular stroller seat, to which you can add a bassinet or second seat as an accessory for a second child.
