Chicco has announced it plans to revise the weight limits of their KeyFit Infant car seat to 30 pounds, from 26 pounds. The KeyFit now joins the Graco SafeSeat as one of the few infant car seats that can be used up to 30 pounds (most seats stop at 22 pounds).
The Chicco KeyFit 30 infant seat will also increase in price, unfortunately—retailing for $170 (about $20 more than the past version).
The Chicco KeyFit 30 infant seat will be released in late summer 2007 (August-September).
