New Jersey furniture maker Berg has decided to exit the nursery furniture market later this year, BABY BARGAINS has learned.
At one point, the company imported a dozen crib styles from Russia and China, but recently discontinued all but one style (the Oslo). The company decided to refocus its efforts on older kids furniture (bunk beds, captain beds) made in the USA. That means jettisoning its nursery furniture.
The company told us they plan to sell out their last remaining stock of cribs this year.
