You may already have read our review of Earth’s Best baby food–that’s where this company got its start. Given Earth’s Best’s success in organic jarred baby food, the company has decided to branch out into wipes and diapers. The result: a latex free, dye-free, perfume-free diaper with great absorbency and no chlorine used in it’s production. The company also claims they use 20% less petrochemicals compared to other name-brand diapers by using corn and wheat starch for absorbancy. So how do they work in the real world? Parent reviews are positive, with several readers saying they preferred Earth’s Best over Seventh Generation (another eco-friendly diaper). More than one noted Earth’s Best seemed more comfortable to wear and easier to fit. Price is 26¢ per diaper on Amazon.com. That’s less than most eco diapers we reviewed; of course, it is much higher than the 15¢ or so name-brand diapers run at discount. Rating: A
