FYI: Skip Hop is now a part of the Carter’s Inc. group; which includes Carter’s OshKosh B’gosh, Child of Mine, Just One You, Genuine Kids and Precious Firsts. While we still see Skip Hop bedding on Amazon.com and other sites, we do not see any bedding on Skip Hop’s own web site. We don’t know yet if they are discontinuing bedding. Check back for updates.

Bumper-free is the new hot trend in bedding and Skip Hop is the company most embracing it. With seven “Complete Sheet” designs, Skip Hop’s four-piece sets include a 200 thread count 100% cotton sheet, wall decals, a cotton knit nursery blanket and a linen crib skirt. Price: an affordable $99. Additional sheets are $24. In fact, all the items in their set can be purchased separately plus they offer changing pad covers.
But the real kicker for this bedding line: the sides of the fitted sheets are printed to look like a contrasting bumper pad. So when you look at your crib from the side, you’ll see enhanced graphics that coordinate with the print–the bumper without the bumper issue. Very smart.
But that’s not all. The patterns are cute, modern graphics with some great gender neutral options. Parents tell us the sheets are very soft and wash well. The quality, softness, great patterns and no-bumper sheets lead us to give this company our highest rating.
