The Longboard Stroller: Will Quinny bring it to the US?

Last updated: Nov 30, 2017 @ 1:59 pm The Longboard Stroller: Will Quinny bring it to the US? A mash up between a stroller and skateboard, the Longboard Stroller by Quinny is lighting up the internet—so what is it? And when is it coming, if ever, to the US?

The Longboard Stroller was launched as a “mobility experiment” in Europe back in 2014. Quinny made 1000 of them and is selling them for about 600 Euros. Unfortunately, it isn’t available in the US—and no, you can’t just hop on their European web site and order one. You have to have a European IP address and European-based credit card to order one (we can hear our tech ninja readers now firing up their Tor browsers, wrapping a bandana around their forehead and screaming “Challenge Accepted!”).

FYI: Quinny is part of the Dorel baby gear empire that includes Cosco, Safety 1st and Maxi Cosi. Quinny is their upper-end gear line that is sold both in Europe and the US.

We’ve reached out to Quinny to see what plans they have bring the Longboard Stroller to the US. We’ll update this post when we hear back. Our guess: Dorel’s lawyers will NEVER allow this one to be sold here. But we’ll see!

Meanwhile, we still have the pictures . . .
