Bugaboo posted news of a new stroller on their Facebook page Friday: the Buffalo, the first all-terrain Bugaboo. While the company didn’t post any more details besides the photo at right plus a promise to detail more next week, other Bugaboo retailers were given the green light to spill more product details.
New Jersey baby store NessaleeBaby posted Buffalo specs, including a weight (26.2 lbs) and a few features: a one-piece fold, foam-filled tires and extendable sun canopy. There will also be something called a beach mode, which is supposed to compensate for the lack of a reversible handle.
The Buffalo will be priced between the Cameleon and the Donkey, says the retailer—which probably puts in in the $1000-$1100 range. Below is a graphic on the various modes for the stroller, via PishPoshBaby.com.
Updated 2-15-13: Looks like Bugaboo fans may have to wait a while to see the Buffalo in the US. The company will launch the Bugaboo first in Europe then in Australia” “Further global introduction is planned for the 4th quarter of 2013, with the exception of the USA whereby introduction will be considered at a later stage.”
